FREE ART PRODUCTION: To qualify for free art preparation we need your help. Providing computer art in .CDR, .AI, .EPS or .PDF (vector) is a great way to ensure the speed of production for your sign.

NO COMPUTER ART, NO PROBLEM: If you don't have computer art, let us know the font you used in your design. By simply providing us with a sketch, a piece of letter head, or a business card, Signs of Security will provide free art preparation if we can prepare your art in 30 minutes or less. If your design will take more than 30 minutes to develop, our standard art charge is $75.00 per hour beyond your first free 30 minutes. Estimated art lead times are determined on a case by case basis after you submit your request.


• We generate an art proof on each job, this includes reorders. You have to review and sign the proof prior to production. As soon as you sign the proof we start producing your product.

• When you sign the proof it's the only time you will have to submit changes. Once we have your signature, we immediately go into production.

• We take great pride in our ability to match the product description to the product you receive. Your signature is an agreement and acceptance that we've fulfilled your design request and as long as we do what we do best: making signs to your specification, you will be held to this agreement.

• Art Proofs are generated only after orders are placed.

Signs of Security offers 24 standard opaque and 9 standard reflective ink colors free of charge.

• Inks printed on white base materials will appear very similar to the colors seen here.
• Inks printed on materials with other than white base colors will appear darker.


If your design was created using CMYK or RGB colors, Signs of Security will choose the closest PMS color match available. The new color can be +/- 10% different.


PMS numbers are the printing industry standard for ink colors and therefore are the preferred choice of Signs of Security.


• Although computers are convenient, when matching colors they are not 100% accurate. To ensure your 100% satisfaction, just ask one of our knowledgeable customer service representatives to mail you color sample chips of the shades you selected.

• You can also reference PMS numbers to speed the process.


• If you've requested a color that is not covered by our displayed PMS pallet there will be a color matching charge of $35.00 per color. Custom Colors require multiple inks to be mixed for the shade requested. Due to variations in ink formulations very slight color differences may occur when mixing inks.


STANDARD SHAPES: We offer a large selection of stock shapes available in a variety of sizes.

CUSTOM SHAPES: Can't find the shape you're looking for? Simply fill out the Custom Sign Quote Request Form or contact customer service via email at sales@signsofsecurity.com. Custom shapes will require a one-time Die Charge, per requested size, ranging from $95.00 to $150.00 for both signs and decals.

• Signs are typically provided with 2 mounting holes, top and bottom, at 0.218" (7/32") in diameter, free of charge.

• Any other hole configuration requires custom pricing.


• Double Sided Tape is also available as another mounting option. Custom pricing required.


• Clear Polyester overlam offers a superior chemical, abrasion, temperature and scratch resistance for all your signs. Clear overlamination is available for most sign materials at an extra charge, but is not required or generally recommended.

• Clear Coat is typically printed on .060 polystyrene signs to prevent ink fading and material yellowing.

• Clear coat can extend the life of your signs by 1 to 2 years.


• To keep our manufacturing costs in line with our competitive prices, Signs of Security reserves the right to over or under ship custom printed products by 10% and adjust invoicing accordingly, unless otherwise specified and agreed to in writing. This is a common industry standard.


• Claims for shortages must be made within 15 days from the date of shipment. Claims after 15 days will not be honored

Can I add special instructions to an order?

Yes, you can add special instruction to an order on the check out page along with your shipping information.

Which credit cards do we accept?

American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover.

Can I view a previous order?

You can only view your order history if you opened an account at checkout. Previous orders can be viewed by going to the Order History under My Account page. Clicking on any of the hyperlinks in the order history area will load a printable copy of the e-receipt for the order. This e-receipt contains all the information in the system about the order except shipping or other status. The order status or tracking number is display next to the order number.

Can I reorder products?

Using the Reorder page, you can quickly reorder items that you have previously purchased. A button which loads the Reorder page is located at the top of your My Account page.
